How to type Spanish characters on iPhone
Step-by-step: type ñ, accented vowels, ü, ¿, and ¡ on iPhone. Quick reference for Spanish students.
How to type them
- Open the app where you are typing and show the software keyboard.
- Touch and hold a vowel (or N) to pop up accented choices; slide to the letter you want.
- For ¿ or ¡, touch and hold ? or ! and pick the inverted character.
Tip: Add a Spanish keyboard in Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard → Spanish for one-tap access to ñ and common punctuation.
