How to type them

  1. Open Settings → Device → Keyboard → Change input settings and add “US International” or “Spanish”.
  2. With US International, type accent dead keys (often AltGr + quote) then the vowel, or use the Spanish layout where ñ has its own key.
  3. Fallback: Ctrl + Shift + U, type the Unicode (e.g. 00f1 for ñ), then Enter.

Tip: US International: Right Alt (AltGr) + n gives ñ; AltGr + punctuation often matches desktop international layouts. Exact keys vary slightly by input method.
